"The Brovia 2018 Barolo is a classic wine with a smooth and silky mouthfeel that is brightened by cassis, dried cherry, tar, licorice and campfire ash. The firm tannins give ample support and contribute to the wine’s considerable length." - WA 93

Castiglione Falletto is a town located halfway between Barolo and La Morra to the west (where the wines tend to be lighter, but quite fragrant and with a lot of finesse) and Monforte d’Alba and Serralunga d’Alba to the east (where the wines show the classic power, intensity and structure which made them this among the best wines in Italy).

Castiglione Falletto is an excellent middle ground between the two styles, elegant and powerful at the same time. The character and personality of the wines completely change according to the exposure of the soil and the altitude and experts have always expressed the unanimous opinion, recently confirmed by the maps and classifications of the various vineyards, that historically the 2 amazing plots were Rocche and Villero, the first fragrant and silky, the second vigorous and concentrated.

A house that has had the enormous fortune of owning vineyards in both crus is that of the Brovia family, today, 3rd generation of winegrower, Cristina and Elena Brovia continue, with passion and dedication, the work inaugurated and carried out by their father with such ability.
