Chateau Cos Labory, Saint Estephe 5th Classified Growth 2016

Located on the famous gravelly rise of Cos, the 18 hectares vineyard benefits from remarkable sun exposure, the soil is made of Gunz gravel on a marl and limestone platform. It is planted with traditional Bordeaux left bank grape varieties, 60 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 35 % Merlot, 5 % Cabernet franc.

Major investments have been made over the past several years and Château Cos Labory now relies on the latest technology to produce their great wines. Great attention is paid during fermentation and ageing, which are adapted to the character of each vintage. Ageing take place in oak barrels 50% new, for 18 months.

Cos Labory combines power, elegance, and the typical structure of a great Saint-Estèphe. Annual production is about 80,000 bottles.
