Chateau Martinon, Bordeaux Entre-Deux-Mers White 2018

60% Sémillon, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Muscadelle.

Gold color. Very expressive nose of ripe white fruits and exotic fruits like pineapple and passionfruit. A dry white wine with flavors of citrus backed by unctuous white peach notes. The Sauvignons bring the aromatics, the Semillons give the wine a rich texture and longevity, while the Muscadelles add an extra layer of complexity and notes of honey. Easy to drink on its own, balanced and refreshing.

Château Martinon has been in the same family for many generations, serving its motto: "Tradition and Quality", which makes it one of the most famous wines in its region. It is located in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers "Haut-Benauge", on a clay-limestone hillside, in the town of Gornac.

It was in 1980 that Jérôme Trolliet took over from his mother, herself having taken over from her father years before, at the head of the company, bringing with him the modernity which allowed the property family to fully flourish both qualitatively and commercially.

Today, with an area of around 70 hectares, 42 of which are planted with vines, Château Martinon produces very high quality red and white Bordeaux wines with elegance and fruitiness.
