A subtle blend of merlot and cabernet franc, the wines of Grand Mayne combine the power of fruit, elegant tension and finesse. Known for their excellent ageing potential, the recent vintages of Château Grand Mayne are now more open and accessible in their early years.

Typical Blend : 80% Merlot / 20% Cabernet Franc

Soil Type : Clay-limestone on the hillside and, at its foot, on clay soil

Vine Age : 35 years

Maturing : 18 months in barrels (70% new – 30% 1-year)

Surface Area : 17 ha (14.5 ha in production)

Vinification : Thermoregulated wooden and stainless-steel vats.
