Chateau Kirwan, Margaux Les Charmes de Kirwan 2019

Château Kirwan is a wine estate in Bordeaux owned by the Schÿler family since 1925. The Grand Vin is classified as a Third Growths in the historic Bordeaux Wine Classification of 1855. 

Les Charmes de Kirwan is the second wine of Château Kirwan and is generally made from the fruit of the youngest vines. It is a blend of 46% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot. Bottled after maturing for 18 months.

Les Charmes de Kirwan shows a deep red color with purple hues. An intense nose of cherry and blackberry with subtle hints of oak. The palate is full bodied with ripe fruits flavors, a velvety texture and lingering finish. A beautiful red wine that expresses all the finesse of Margaux, to enjoy with red meats in sauce.
