100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) with aromas of blackberry fruit combined with notes of liquorice, mineral and spice. Medium to full bodied,displaying a sumptuous creamy texture, ripe black fruits,well-integrated tannins and good acidity.

Made with 100% Tinto Fino (local name for the Tempranillo grape) from low yielding vines of approx. 15 years of age. Hand harvested, careful sorting of the grapes and destemmed before fermentation. Aged 6 months in American and French oak barrels.

Bodegas Vizcarraowns 35 ha. of Tinto Fino vines in different plots located in the municipal districts of Mambrilla de Castrejn and Roa de Duero. In 1991, Juan Carlos Vizcarra, the actual proprietor of the winery, following his fathers footsteps took over the winery. In 2007 they started operating from their new facilities where the whole process is done by gravity, avoiding the use of electrical pumps, in order to achieve abetter concentration of aromas and much softer tannins, as a result the wines stand out for their elegance and personality.
